Who can resist a warm, comforting cup of hot chocolate on a chilly day? I know I can't!
Recipe:
- Almond milk (enough to fill your cup)
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 flat tablespoon cocoa powder
- A pinch of salt
- 2 teaspoons powdered sweetener (I use Truvia)
- A dash of Stevia
- Optional: protein powder
- Optional: flavoring of your choice (I used vanilla)
In a mug, mix a small amount of almond milk with all the other ingredients. Stir well until fully combined.
Fill the rest of the cup with almond milk.
Microwave for 1 minute, then stir thoroughly.
Heat for another minute, or until it reaches your desired temperature.
Sip and enjoy!
