These versatile buns are perfect for sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, or even as dinner rolls. They align with the THM plan as a "FP" (Fuel Pull), making them suitable to enjoy with an "S" meal, an "E" meal, or on their own as a "FP" option.
Recipe: 1 1/4 cup Almond Flour
5 Tablespoons Whole Psyllium husk
1 teaspoon salt ( I use Celtic salt)
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 heaping Tablespoon on nutritional yeast
1 Tablespoon on yeast (baking)
Mix well to get out lumps.
1 1/4 cup Hot water
3 egg whites
2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar with the mother
Optional a few drops of liquid sweetener
Add hot water to dry ingredients and mix well for about 2 minutes. Add vinegar to egg whites. Then slowly add egg whites and vinegar to the other ingredients. As this is mixing the egg whites will put apart from the other ingredients but with come back together. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
