The Garden is in full swing

The garden is overflowing with fresh, delicious produce. We've been enjoying an abundance of green beans, a bounty of tomatoes, and even a few vibrant peppers.

My freezer is quickly filling up in preparation for the colder months. I've been peeling and slicing peaches, ready to bake warm, comforting peach oatmeal cakes this fall and winter. Every few days, I find myself cooking, cooling, and storing tomatoes in freezer bags, setting the stage for hearty future meals like spaghetti, chili, and soups.

The baby goats are absolutely adorable, and I love gazing out the window to watch them play. It's so much fun to step outside and hear their tiny cries for food—they sound just like little babies!

Miniature donkeys are naturally curious creatures, always eager to explore and stay involved in the daily happenings around the farm.

This spring, Daniel hatched a large number of chicks, and now we have plenty of chickens on the farm. While only two are currently laying eggs, we’re excited that his first batch of chicks will soon grow big enough to start laying as well. Stay tuned for more eggs in the near future!
